"Watch out for those RE/MAX agents: they're all sharks!"

Admit it...you've gotten this warning from other agents in your office or even from your broker or manager. Just today I heard someone say that if you dropped dead in a RE/MAX office the other agents would step over you on the way to their next deal.

Gospel truth or urban legend?

It's true that RE/MAX agents are business-focused professionals who have better things to do than hang out in the break room eating stale donuts and complaining about the market. But it's also true that if you're a bright, motivated, up-and-comer you'll find RE/MAX agents open and willing to share their methods and strategies of success.

And the success is contagious. Agents who join a RE/MAX office often increase their production 25-40% in their first twelve months. And guess what? They don't develop carnivorous tendencies and start eating their young! On the contrary, we've found that as agents become more prosperous, they also become more generous.

Perhaps that's because RE/MAX doesn't take a huge bite out of their commissions!
